New from Krups, the XP2070 Programmable Combi Machine is a dual function espresso and drip coffee maker. The combination unit has a 10 cup coffee maker,15 bar pump espresso maker with a thermoblock heating element to ensure consistent water temperature every time. The 32oz removable water tank is large enough to brew 25 shots of espresso and the heavyweight die cast filter holder has 3 interchangeable sieves for 1 or 2 servings of ground espresso as well as ESE pre-portioned pods. Beautiful brushed stainless steel finish matches any kitchen decor.

Great machine! From my perspective...

I researched and read almost all reviews on almost all machines. All the negative ones scared me off! Finally, I was fed up and purchased this machine at BBandBeyond for $299 (minus 20% w/ coupon). I called my friend upon leaving the store and asked her to look it up on Amazon to see what the rating was. When she said "two stars" I almost turned around and returned it! But once I got it home, plugged it in, and read the instructions, I was SO excited! Of course, it all depends on your perspective. I was upgrading from a $30 machine I purchased at Target. Compared to that, this thing is heaven! I've read the negative reviews and what they say is valid, however, I don't find that stuff to be a big deal. The instructions are not fantastic, but I figured it out on my own pretty quickly. Push the flashing button to make it go is really all you need to do. The steam tube has an "accessory" that froths the milk for you. How awesome is that?? That accessory is what falls off. And it does that almost every time I remove the carrafe of milk. But who cares?? The beauty of it falling off is, it's SO EASY to clean! My last machine did not have a "falling off accessory" and it was NEVER fully clean! I just did a taste test on my husband and he says the espresso is great! I'm so so excited about my new machine!

Great Item for Price! Instruction are NOT that hard to understand...

This is a great machine, especially for the price. Many people complain that this machine is hard to use, and they probably didn't read the instructions. If you have half a mind this machine is very easy to use and creates great tasting espresso.

I've been using it for about 2 months now and I love it! It makes great coffee. The espresso feature works great and I love that you can adjust how much espresso it makes. Haven't had a single issue with it yet. The manual is only somewhat helpful but if you've had an espresso machine before, you'll figure it out.
